Being a finalist in the 2016 Telstra Business Awards has been an incredible journey for Rando and Associates and although we didn’t take home the award in the Micro Business category, the team and I send our congratulations to Health Safety Works and to the overall WA winner, PeopleSense.

Funnily enough, it turns out I know the team from Health Safety Works; having taught the Managing Director, Jeremy Nunn, many years ago when he was a student at Leschenault Catholic Primary School!

people like Julie and I to live their lives better.
It was a small loan from my parents to buy a laptop and a mobile phone in 2005 that gave me the opportunity to take the leap of faith I had longed for- so it was fitting that Mum and Dad (Gwen and Fiore) joined us on the night. Starting your own business, sticking to it, making the bold decisions, it takes courage. And some days, that courage and confidence can be really low. Reflecting on the Awards experience I have found that it has reminded of that initial faith and vision and it’s given me a boost to keep being bold in the coming years.
